I innovate with instructional tools that engage students in dynamic learning. This activity replaces a lecture in British Literature I. It introduces Anglo-Saxon culture through a branching narrative that requires the students to make choices based on their reading of Beowulf. It also replaced a reading quiz, since students gained or lost game points in order to "win" the scenario.

Canvas Module • World Literature II

I blend traditional learning strategies with multimedia tools. This Canvas module pairs a multi-attempt mastery quiz with original video lecture and curated primary sources. Designed around low-stakes scaffolding and iterative retakes, this framework lowers student anxiety and drives measurable writing growth from initial modules to final papers. 

Brightspace Module • Composition I

I scaffold learning so that students can see how each part of the process logically hangs together. This D2L module combines narrative-based instruction and responsive writing. This is one part of a three-module unit guiding students through the process of writing a narrative essay.

Video Essays • Digital Humanities

I script, narrate, and edit open‑access video essays that explore the intersection of the humanities and modern technology. Each piece blends human‑authored writing with carefully chosen AI‑generated visual elements to translate complex analytical frameworks into clear, engaging instructional tools.
