About Mapmaker Learning Studio
I design learning with clarity and purpose. I believe students learn best when they understand the objectives, why the material matters, and how each activity is leading them toward these goals.
My teaching grows out of years of experience helping students make sense of complex ideas through strong structure, thoughtful scaffolding, and meaningful engagement. I can anticipate places where students get "stuck" and give them tools to do the cognitive work. Above all, I strive to create learning environments where curiosity feels safe, intellectual risk is rewarded, and students gain confidence in areas where they never thought they could succeed.
